This show confuses the heck out of me. You have the 5 characters: Hippo girl, who seems to be the spoiled rotten bossy queen; duh-personality Dinosaur boy, the Blue bird of follow-along Pablo; Moose who has the smallest roles, and the fifth one is some creature (I can’t figure out what it’s supposed to be) who appears to be the real leader.
I can’t stand the Hippo girl. What a fine example of everything you DON’T want your child to act like. And the other kids/animals let her boss them around like she’s a real Princess! Shouldn’t children’s programs show children solutions to life’s crappy situations . . . like bossy, bratty friends?
Good music though. Kira loves the songs and dances along. She’s not really watching these shows yet, but I have them on for background noise and she sometimes picks up on a scene or two.
Little bits of nuttin'

Caught up on DVR’d shows yesterday and today. Men in Trees, Brothers & Sisters, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice, Torchwood, Ugly Betty, more Torchwood, one of Ginnie’s Xena episodes, Kid Nation, and Project Runway. I think that’s all of them.
I burnt my hand taking my dinner out of the microwave. The stupid thing is over my head and I dropped the container all over me and the stove top. What a mess. And my hand hurts.
Max called last night to tell me he was cooking dinner. I guess I need to write that down somewhere.
I need a jacket. And black printer ink.

I scheduled my court-ordered 3-hour parenting class for December 5th. Whoopie. Like I need a parenting class now that my baby is 17. Barn door?

I just don’t understand Technorati. What exactly is it supposed to do and how do I do it?
And people are talking about Zune software replacing iTunes. iTunes sucks for organizing podcast feeds and my music files but it is available with one-click on a lot of sites. Just because it’s easy to connect to it doesn’t mean its the best. Maybe I’ll try the Zune thing.
I’ve gotten all the A-V books from the DragonPage library onto the Google documents and onto Shelfari. I took last week off, but now I’m back in gear. I should have the project finished in a few more hours. Just finding the hours is the problem. Kira gets into too much stuff in my room so I’m down to her nap time and when she’s not here at night.
Oh well, g’night.
Stupidest TV Show Ever

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The. Worst. Show. Ever.
Seriously. Worse than a rejected SNL skit. Worse than Icelandic Regional Theater. Absolutely Horrid.
The best thing on the recording is the Nip/Tuck commercials. I figured Danny De Vito? Might be good. I’ll record it and check it out when I have nothing better to watch.
Someone please invent brain bleach. Please.

Chuck'n Heroes

I watched Chuck last night before Heroes, mostly because I liked the whole geek premise but a little because Adam Baldwin is in it. So far I like the scruffy geek Chuck, I think the pal Morgan is played a bit tooooo obnoxious geek, and the Blond spyette is lifeless. Chuck’s sister has more pizazz. Mr. Amazing is amusing but will get old fast. And I don’t really like Adam’s character yet. They need to let him play it a little stronger. His intimidating isn’t intimidating enough and we all know he can do it better.
Heroes was a catchup with (almost) everyone and add a few more episode.
Where's my Prince Charming?

Back when I was a young girl we were raised with all these fairy tales and we’re all supposed to dream of our Prince Charming. This was the only available Prince at that time. No way was I dreaming of that, thankyouverymuch. I’m sure his Mother loved him tons but seriously, yuk.
At least girls nowadays, if they so choose to have those Prince Charming dreams, have a better looking choice. And apparently a much nicer person behind the face.
I just watched Matt Lauer’s interview of William and Harry on Dateline. Nicely done. Although the whole Princess Di story only vaguely interested me over the years, I had a lot of respect for her as a mother and as a humanitarian. Her death was a shock, but strangely not unexpected. I figured the paparazzi would end up killing someone sooner or later. Which is why I rarely touch those rags the worst of them work for.
(I don’t care what anyone says, “for which the worst of them work” is correct but sounds stupid.)
Those boys turned out pretty well all things considered.
After that I watched the latest episode of Kyle XY. I already don’t like the XX actress. The actor who plays Kyle did the new-to-life person with just the right amount of wonder and care and she’s just wooden and goofy.
Then I watched The 4400. I’d missed most of last season so I’m a bit lost. I guess I’d better peruse the internet to find those episodes and get caught up. Or not.
