On the Arizona Browncoats boards:
Alright guys…brace yourselves……..
There is in fact a screening of “Serenity” on Monday at 7:00 p.m.!!
I also have passes, I was contacted by a Universal Rep, and asked to pass out 75 passes (that admit 2
so 150) to Local Browncoats and Movie-goers.
These will also be first come first served.
I signed up for passes. Ginnie and I will be seeing Serenity Monday night – FREE! This is the final version! GO ME! Gorram it, the Phoenix area has sure lucked out with this movie. Plus I got a free Serenity movie poster yesterday at the movies, which apparently was only in AZ and CA, I think. Plus there’s a Shindig Tuesday night.
Plus I found a brown coat AND boots today so the Browncoats costume is pretty much a sure thing. Still can’t find an official gun belt, but a regular belt will serve. I have one more person to ask if I can borrow but if that doesn’t work out, oh well. I have pants that fit, too. Well, those are old ones I already had but WTF why not.

I’m behind on my podcasts. I’m listening to The Signal #5 (out of 7) now. Gina Torres interview, “Shun-SHENG duh gao-WAHNÂ ” (Holy Testicle Tuesday!) – Chinese lessons, recipes from the show, etc.
It’s like a really cool radio show.
Edited to add:
The Signal #6 has an interview with Ron Glass. He might be great in this show/movie but geeze he’s annoying. He’s apparently one of those people who has that laughing tic. Must laugh before every response. I think even the interviewers were getting creeped out. He did have some interesting things to say if you could ignore the constant laughing.
