In business I believe they should be done especially in cases where product was donated. And one year I wrote TY notes to every one that bought Girl Scout cookies from my daughter. The customers were so appreciative of them because I let them know what the money was being used for.Otherwise, to those that were just doing their job I never did one. I also don't believe we should be tipping workers for doing their job except in restaurants, where they actually have to wait on you.
