Here in NYC, between the extensive network of mass transit which includes buses, commuter rail trains, subways and ferries, the traffic,  the cost of caring for and keeping a car (a garage is a second rent) and the cost of gas, it really doesn&#039;t make sense for to own a car here.  I know, most folks will point out that I can have a license and not own a car, I understand this, however driving is something that requires practice.  If you can&#039;t see yourself driving once a month you shouldn&#039;t have a license since you&#039;re more likely to be a problem on the road.  I honestly think it would be stupid and irresponsible for me to have a license right now.
