The cell phone saga continues
As mentioned before my cool new Moto Q is bugging the crap out of me.
I downloaded the Motorola Software update and it doesn’t recognize that my phone is plugged in. Ain’t the cable because ActiveSync works. I followed all instructions (even the if-this-doesn’t-work ones) and nada. Searching online led me to believe that it would solve most of my problems. Crud.
I stopped by the ONLY authorized repair shop in the Phoenix area (after my mammogram on Monday) and he couldn’t fix it because my service is through Alltel.
I finally have a day without The Screech, so I stopped by the Alltel place ’round the corner. We’ve all been completely programmed to expect shitty customer service so I expected them to charge me money, or say I’m out of luck or some other negative outcome. Heck No!
No problem whatsoever. A couple of minutes on his handy-dandy computer and they’re shipping me a new phone within 2-5 working days. And I have seven days after that to ship back this faulty one.
Let’s hope A) it gets here before I leave next Thursday morning for Hawaii, and B) I don’t have any more problems after that.
