I’m reposting some information about the Joe Murphy Memorial Fund website and their Give Us a Minute podcast. I think of Joe quite a bit still and miss him often. Tee has updated the podcast recently with information about giving blood at Dragon*Con for Joe.

Joe Murphy, podcaster and XM Radio personality, passed away April 1 from the rare cancer leiomyosarcoma.

Joe’s favorite song was Jonathan Coulton‘s “First of May,” so to raise awareness of his disease and raise funds for his family, a group of podcasters lead by Paul Fischer and Phil Rossi have recorded a benefit version of “First of May”:
