Just so you know, I've made changes

I’m changing my name from any variation of damoodymom, and becoming:

spellwight

I’ve deleted some people. Nothing personal, just cleaning up.

I’m making other changes, too.

The morning after

Yup, although we’re too broke to go out and celebrate it, he remembered our Anniversary. Made steaks on the grill for dinner, let me watch Lost* without comment, then we went to (ahem) bed. Aaaaaaand again this morning.

I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning (as I was up early) and now there are four three left. I sure wish either of them would have eaten more rather than left the temptation for me.

I still have my fingers crossed she goes into labor today.

*Lost – I was all set to watch a new episode and was greatly disappointed. Oh well.

Make a friend the easy way

Local radio does this Friends-day Wednesday thing, throw a dart at a map and call some quaint-named business at the nearest small town.

Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Some guy named Randy Mott, working at Mobo Hobo Catering, is looking for a woman.

Any takers?

OMG STFU

Apparently, I’m stirring shit again. Feel free not to look, I’m just keeping track.

Oh, and I paid $2.13 a gallon for gas today.

Contract

Ginnie got the following contract in her theater arts class today:

I, ______________, understand that I will be putting my heart and soul into the Haunted House. I also understand that I will be staying after school and coming into lunch to help build the Haunted House whenever I can. In addition, I know if I’m casted I have to help build (painting, bringing in props, costumes, etc.). I also know that I will have nightmares and bad hair days if I don’t put my all into this amazing Haunted House and/or don’t help out and be a lazy bum. I know Caitlin doesn’t like lazy bums and she will hurt me if I become one, but if I do help out, her love for me will grow. She’s amazing, I love her… Woot, go Caitlin. ^_^

X______________________ I understand to the above terms.

(There is no disagreeing to these terms)

Isn’t that the cutest thing? Someone actually has a sense of humor. Caitlin is a student teacher.

This is a test

Wednesday is our 26th wedding anniversary. Let’s see if Hubby remembers. Even though I mentioned it over the weekend, let’s just wait and see.

Monday Catch-up

Sunday afternoon spent in Maternity Tri-age, yet another false alarm. I can’t wait until she actually goes into real labor. At least the hours sitting in the hospital won’t be wasted.

Not getting a good response to my new name suggestion threads. C’mon people, use your imaginations because I don’t have one of my own.

Max called, he gets promoted to PFC today. I’m pretty sure the first few promotions are time-in-grade so it’s not really anything special. But I’m still proud of him.

The girl decided to let that boy be her BoyFriend. Officially, over the weekend. We went to Leticia’s HS football game because she was one of those band flag waver people and her brother – that she lives with now – had to work and couldn’t be supportive. Gin and BF were all huggy and joined-at-the-hip all night. I’m pretty sure he’s just a practice BF. I’m hoping he’s just a practice BF.

That's not right.

I’ve been listening to 7th Son: Book One – Descent by J.C. Hutchins (at podiobooks.com) and I have a question.

Basically the story is about 7 clones, with community memory until age 14, then raised separately. One’s a priest, one’s a scientist, and so on. The one who’s a marine is apparently gay. So I’m confused. Wasn’t it proved that homosexually is decided in the genes? Wouldn’t genetic clones of a single Alpha dude, have the same sexual orientation?
