Last night, drove through traffic to pick up son and girlfriend, then Ginnie’s friend. Drove back through more traffic. Seemed like every street I was on had some construction. Chit.

Dumped Ginnie and Talia here at home, changed clothes, picked up Hubby and we went to Famous Sam’s for dinner. It was fine, spotted friends across the restaurant, and then Buck and Casey played a couple games of pool. Buck bitching the whole time about crap bar tables. Some weird guy played a video game like, right next to us and spent half his time checking out my boobs. Which both flattered AND creeped me out. Oh yeah, I had a couple beers.

Came home, Buck went out to his usual pool hustling place, Casey and Venus went over to a friend’s and Ginnie decided to bake me a cake. I watched Dr. Who and went to bed.

Mom called and wished me happy birthday.

We went out to Baby Depot and then to Tempe to the Flutag, but there were trees between the stands and the lake, it was scorching hot, and over 40k people – some of who really needed to put their shirts back on.

Why do guys think it’s okay to walk around in public without a shirt on? And women can’t. It’s not like we have an internal A/C or anything.

Anyhow – dumped everyone back at Casey’s and I’m home alone. Listened to the live feed and chat room for Wingin It. Waiting for Buck to come home.

I opened my garage door this morning and there’s 6 cop cars lining my street!

No cops, just cars. Coupla doors down.

So anyway, take Ginnie to school and turn around and come back home and then there were two officers standing alongside one car, sipping coffee. So I slowed down and asked if “all this means the neighbors should be worried?” and the supervisor (huge pin on his chest) said no, the reporting person was here but “it” was somewhere else. Whatever.

Of course, then I had to report that conversation to the scads of neighbors grouped down the street wondering what was going on. I feel special.

This is one of the few times I hate that this house doesn’t have windows on the front, unless I want to huddle in my non-air-conditioned garage and peek out the blinds.

Shaddup, I am not nosy. You’d do the same thing.

Woke early this morning.
Drove to McDonald’s for breakfast.
Drove Ginnie to school.
Grocery shopping/bank deposit.
Caught up online.
Picked up Venus in Tempe.
Filled up tank.
Drove to Phoenix for lunch – where we realized the free passes I had for a really nice restaurant had expired.
Drove all over Phoenix looking for an Olive Garden – hey, I was jonesing.
Window shopped at Castle Boutique. Its amusing what a young person “would never use” I have in my nightstand.
Over to the VA for my ultrasound and probe.
Drove in rush-hour traffic back to Tempe.
Drove in rush-hour traffic back home.
Finished putting away the groceries.
Colored Ginnie’s hair.
Caught up online.

If er’s a rerun, I’m going to bed.
